Target

The New Target.com

I was very fortunate enough to help with the redesign of target.com. It's a responsive site that is currently on phones and tablets. I worked closely with product managers, front end developers, other designers, and our partners in accessibility to create an experience that adheres to Target's high accessibility standards. I mainly designed the guest account management portion of the website.

Target.com Site Pages

My time at Target was an experience in which I learned a tremendous amount. I began as a creative production designer for Target.com, wireframing and laying out site pages, working with copywriters and art directors to make sure elements were within the capabilities of the CMS. I assisted in curating images for brand pages with partnerships with Target.com, all the while working closely with senior art directors and copywriters, electronic page execution and clients in marketing. I helped create stories to meet business objectives while remaining relatable to our target audience.

Target Canada Facebook: Warm Wishes Facebook Contest

A social media campaign for Target as they moved in up north, this Facebook contest was a way to engage the community of Target Canada by saying, "Thanks for being our new neighbors!" Facebook likers could fill out a form for a chance to win a reverse housewarming gift—a box full of winter fun-things. I played the part of production designer, flowing copy and images into layout, creating presentation documents, working alongside and supporting the art director during the photo shoot, and hanging and learning (including, but not limited to, crochet-bird-rhinoplasty) with an awesome photographer, and stylists.

Target Baby Facebook: 12 Truths of Christmas

 A play off of The 12 Days of Christmas, these 12 Truths of Christmas were driven heavily by copy to carry Target's voice across their social media page. I worked closely with the Senior Art Director to create image posts for Target Baby's holiday Facebook posts.
